To change the icon of "Library" follow this Tutorial.

I figured out how to change those icons now I'm just focused on the sidebar

You have to use the .ico format to change the icons.

There is program called "Librarian" which lets you change the default library icons in windows.

Link to Librarian.

Here's a link if You would like to do it manually.



For the Favorites icon:

1. Open the registry editor(regedit)
2. Go to the following entry "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{323CA680-C24D-4099-B94D-446DD2D7249E}"
3. Here click on "Default Icon".
4. In the right side Double click on (Default).
5. Now enter the path of Your desired icon in the "Value data:"


For My Computer icon:

1. Right Click on the desktop, go to Personalize.
2. Here at Right Top look for Change Desktop icons.
3. From here You can change the My Computer icon.

Make sure You uncheck "Allow themes to change desktop icons".

Now Log off and Log on to apply changes.
